META earnings have quietly been trending up, how much does earnings momentum still matter at this size?

I’ve been digging a bit more into META recently and something stood out when I looked at earnings over the last several quarters.

Actual EPS has consistently come in above expectations, and forward estimates haven’t rolled over going into the next report (Jan 28). At META’s scale, that kind of sustained earnings momentum feels harder to dismiss than a one-off beat.

I’m not ignoring valuation here META isn’t cheap on traditional multiples but the earnings trajectory looks stronger than the broader narrative I still see around the stock.

What I’ve found helpful is tracking earnings vs expectations over time (I use Blossom to visualize this across quarters), because it makes it easier to separate short-term price noise from underlying execution.

For those who follow META or large-cap tech more generally:

Do you still weigh earnings momentum heavily at this size?

Or does valuation dominate once companies reach this scale?[](https://www.reddit.com/submit/?source_id=t3_1ql7533)
