Have $300k in uncovered stocks. How to best utilize?

My wife and I have $300k in stocks that we were given as kids, but we have lost track of the cost basis for them. I make in the middle bracket earnings for the IRS with regard to capital gains, so we'd be paying 15% tax on the full value of anything we sell out of this package.

We also have $35k in high interest debt.

What is our best option to use this stock package to clear our debt?

I've looked into things like securities-based LOC's, but those seem to be no better than personal loans if you're not taking out 8-figure levels of debt. Are there other ways to leverage this package to clear our debt without selling the stocks?
