Hey so I was on tiktok watching educational videos about the stock market; I hadnt commented or liked any of the videos. I got a notification on whatsapp about being added to a group with a bunch of investors, it had a link that directed to a different group that I had to request to join upon approval. They have a very strict schedule from 9:30am - 4:00pm EDT; not that we must attend, but that is when they give updates on the current stock market and make suggestions on which to buy into. They say their investment strategy is that of a team of orcas, the marine mammal of course and how they hunt in the ocean but applied to investing. I have no idea if this is a scam tactic or not because as Ive mentioned, Im still new to this. They have assistants that DM us saying which stock has the highest earning potential based off of their analysis and also alerts us when to sell. I listened to them and decided to try it out but instead of the thousands that they were all investing, I invested a measily $70. We are day 3 into it and they said we would sell around day 5-8. My $70 has turned into $85 so far.
I guess my question is, is this a scam of some sort? I figured this sub would be the best with this sort of thing.
