I’ve been reading about Render Network and how it aims to connect decentralized GPU rendering with blockchain-based payments and coordination. From what I understand, Render is positioned around use cases like 3D rendering, visual effects, AI workloads, and potentially AR/VR or metaverse-related applications that require large amounts of GPU power.
What I’m trying to understand better is how this actually translates into long-term demand. For example, what does real-world adoption look like today in terms of artists, studios, or developers actively using the network? How does Render realistically compete with centralized GPU providers such as cloud platforms that already dominate the market?
I’m also curious whether the growing demand for AI training, inference, and immersive content could meaningfully increase usage over time, or if there are technical or economic bottlenecks that limit scalability. I’d really appreciate insights from people who’ve followed the project longer or have hands-on experience with it.
