Hi there,
I am early 30 with a medium six figure income. I have two mortgages and one of them has a high 7% rate, the other has a very low rate. Both 30 year mortgages. I have no big investments coming up but still a steady income coming in over the next years. I am wondering if it's better to pay off my 7% mortgage quicker to get an actual 7% on my investment or if it's better to invest into the S&P (e.g. VOO) with a weekly DCA method.
I have my IRA maxed out already. I don't want to tie myself up in too many retirement investments because I want to have the option to access a good amount of cash in maybe the next 10 years to help my parents purchase a home.
I am wondering if you had any advice if it's better to pay off the mortgage quickly or to diversify into SP?
Thank you
