I see a lot of people here chasing entries, leverage, and “perfect setups,” but the trade that changed how I approach crypto had nothing to do with strategy and everything to do with discipline. A few weeks ago I opened what I thought was a “can’t lose” position. No stop loss, full confidence, pure ego. I told myself I’d “manage it manually.” You already know how that story ends 😂 The market didn’t care about my feelings, my bias, or my conviction. It went the other way. Slowly. Then aggressively. And I sat there watching, convincing myself it would come back. It didn’t.It wasn’t the loss that hurt — it was realizing I wasn’t trading the market… I was gambling my emotions.
So I changed how I trade like this Every position now has a planned risk, I only trade setups I’d screenshot and defend logically If I don’t have patience, I don’t trade and Protecting capital > chasing gains
Funny thing is, after I stopped trying to “win big,” my results actually got better.
