Body: The memecoin craze has really slowed down recently, and it seems clear now that people still want to see some kind of value in a memecoin before investing/gambling on it. I just read [this article](https://blockchainreporter.net/how-a-unique-premise-transparency-and-security-give-memecoins-real-value/), which brings out some good points about these factors, and I got curious to see what other people think - can memecoins even have any value or is the social factor the only appeal for every memecoin out there?
For example, the NONPC token mentioned in the article, has a clear way forward, a DAO structure, and a precise plan on how the creator will leave the token and the community will take over. Comparing that to how CTOs happen nowadays, it seems like a big step forward, considering that most memecoins up until now were only created to benefit early investors, snipers and creators.
