Rough close today Dow down almost 1%, S&P and Nasdaq red too. Felt like the whole market just dragged its feet all day.
What caught my eye though was BABA actually showing some life for once, up more than 4%. I haven t seen that stock stretch its legs in a while. Meanwhile AVGO took a hit, and NVDA/AAPL bounced a bit, which honestly feels like the usual “tech rotation but not really” type of day.
I don t have a big China position right now, but moves like this always make me wonder if these little green sparks are just noise or the early signs of something shifting. Hard to tell with how moody the market s been.
Anyone else watching BABA or is this just another one day head fake?
Curious how you all are positioning with this weird mix of red indices random pockets of strength.
