I wanted to share some things going on in Applovin from a personal experience as a mobile developer with 10 years experience in the market that investors here might find relevant.
Some indie developers (we) have been affected by Applovin account suspensions in the last month. These are meddium-size accounts (far from large publishers but definitely not small accounts) which were created years ago and have proven record of not engage in malpractice, in good standing and keeping within ToS.
Funds ranging from 7000$ to 10.000$ have been witheld from us without explanation or response to any contact attempts. The following is my post:

Independent from that, what appears to be system wide payments delay (potentially future payment freezes) have also been reported this month.

Some developers have reported considering legal action which would be added to the SEC (https://www.reuters.com/technology/applovin-probed-by-us-sec-over-data-collection-practices-bloomberg-news-reports-2025-10-06/) and State AG (https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20250803607523/en/APPLOVIN-INVESTIGATION-INITIATED-by-Former-Louisiana-Attorney-General-Kahn-Swick-Foti-LLC-Investigates-the-Officers-and-Directors-of-AppLovin-Corporation---APP) investigations already in progress due to its data practices and ad quality.
Generally developers prefer not to speak out about these bans but, even if not publicly spoken, it is a widespread opinion in the mobile dev community that Applovin engages in all kinds of "shady" practices. Reason we keep working with them is they are close to a monopolistic position (alongise Google AdMob) with their platform, high eCPM and and market share.
