Nvidia just posted 57 billion in revenue are you buying the business or the price

Nvidia’s latest quarter was huge. Revenue was 57 billion dollars, up 62%year on year. Net income was 31.8 billion dollars, up 59%. Earnings per share reached 1.30 dollars, up 60%. Guidance for next quarter is revenue around 65 billion dollars with a small range and gross margin near 75%.

The question now is pretty simple….. If you buy Nvidia at this level, are you paying for future cash flow or mainly taking over a price that several rounds of money already pushed up. A lot of people are basically thinking as long as the AI story holds, Nvidia is the main way to play it, putting the price at which it is traded in second place. That pulls more attention to a few mega caps and less to finding value in the rest of the market.

If you zoom out, a big part of Nvidia’s growth was captured earlier by private and early public money. On the private side, there are new setups that break unlisted equity into smaller units that can be registered and tracked. Jarsy is one of the tools that try to map private shares into one to one on chain units and record who holds what, while rules and risk control are still being tested.

This earnings report will likely push AI valuations higher again. For your own portfolio, trading swings in a few giant names and thinking about how early equity is sliced and allocated are two different games. One is about riding price moves, the other is about standing closer to the real assets before the story shows up in headline numbers. Curious how people in here see this trade off with Nvidia right now?
