I read an article saying that only one will win the ai race and whoever is invested in that one will be rich, but everyone invested in the others will be hurting.
My personal situation is that Ideally what I have invested would double in five years.
The average for the sp500 is doubling after 7 years.
The likelihood is that seven years will be okay.
( medical condition requiring me to move out of my upstairs condo eventually, unknown when it will become super problematic).
Today i'm feeling like, perhaps I am playing with fire trying to beat that somewhat.
I'm not panicking about the correction at all, but I am a little bit panicked about what I read about the mag 7.
I have mostly Microsoft. Much smaller amounts of Amazon, Google, and the others except for tesla.
When I look at that, I don't necessarily think ' microsoft is going to win the ai race'
I just have always thought that microsoft is a good bet, and the other reason I ended up with more of it than the others is that when it shot up I didn't sell very much, and I did the others.
Half of my money is in FXAIX and the other half in individual stocks
