Hello, I hold BMNR stock and then purchased BMNU (a 2x leveraged ETF of BMNR). It went down and I ended up selling it for loss. BMNR stock price has also plummeted since and I want to buy more shares. If I buy more BMNR within 30 days of selling the BMNU, will it trigger a wash sale? It's a taxed account and I don't want to trigger a wash sale and mess up my cost basis.
I figure this should be a relatively easy question to answer by someone with experience. It's pretty easy to lose money on these 2x leveraged single stock ETFs, and there are plenty out there for stocks like NVDA (with ETF called NVDL) and Rigetti (with ETF called RGTX). *Can someone please help?!* Haha.
