I feel like we've all been duped by the grand narrative.
On one side, there's the frenzied party of AI and tech stocks, painting a picture of boundless promise. On the other, my daily bills, sky-high interest rates, and increasingly cautious consumers tell a completely different story.
This creates a strange, fractured world. We seem to inhabit two realities simultaneously: a “bull market” led by tech giants, and a “silent bear market” unfolding across the broader economy, hidden by the indices.
So I believe “bull or bear?” is fundamentally the wrong question. What truly matters is: which side of the market are you on?
If you're fully invested in the winners, you naturally feel the boom. But if you're in other sectors, you may already be in the deep freeze. This “rotation of declines” play leads most people to misjudge until it finally hits them.
What do you think? Do you find me too pessimistic, or do you sense this split too? Are you planning to keep embracing tech stocks, or starting to prepare for the rotation that may come?
