I always consider three key resources we all have:
1. Money
2. Energy
3. Time
When we choose an investment approach, we put in all three resources, not just money. I feel like a lot of people forget this! For me, active trading takes too much time, at least given my current skill level. Cryptocurrencies take too much energy because the wild swings drive me insane. ETFs seem to be the sweet spot because it offers decent growth with minimal energy and time, and I can simply buy-and-forget.
Ultimately each of us learns what strategy fits us best, but I think it's worth considering that money is not the only resource we are spending
