Big pre-market moves by Transunion and Equifax - FICO changes driving sharp sell off.
Shares of credit bureau companies fell sharply in response to the FICO news, with Equifax diving 11%, TransUnion down nearly 9%, and London-listed Experian shedding more than 6%.
Not sure how much of Equifax and TransUnion revenue is actually at risk.
Not immediately obvious on why FICO is worth 19% more on the news since the total volume of credit pulls isn't changing, might be based on FICO keeping more of the revenue per-pull since they aren't paying TRU/EFX to "distribute" the pulls for them?
