How I got interested in Falcon ($FAL) and why I’m watching it closely

A buddy asked me the other day: Yo, have you checked Falcon yet?

At first I hadn’t, but once I did some digging, I realized it’s not just another Layer 1.

Here’s what stood out for me:
Falcon is an EVM-compatible Layer 1, so it works with the tools/devs already know.
It claims 1,000+ TPS with sub-second finality, so performance is not just hype.
What really caught my eye: gasless USDT transfers using protocol-level *paymaster contracts*. The Falcon Foundation actually pre-funds these, so users don’t pay gas when moving stablecoins. That’s huge for reducing friction in everyday transactions.

On the market side:
Some exchanges, including Bitget, offered pre-market futures for $FAL, giving early participants a way to gauge price before the spot listing.
There’s also a launchpool campaign running, which is one of the ways projects often build initial engagement.

Whether Falcon can deliver on its stablecoin-focused pitch is still to be seen, but the concept is interesting enough that I’ll be following how it develops.
