Looking deep into the recent surge in AI crypto projects, it all feels more intentional than coincidental. What i noticed is that these projects are being listed on exchanges, and many of them trend shortly after. Over the past two months, more than 15 AI crypto projects have been listed on bitget alone not to talk of other exchanges, with several yielding high gains. It's clear the whole space is talking about AI, and that excitement naturally bleeds into the crypto market, creating a sense of urgency. When a new AI token hits an exchange, a lot of people seem to get FOMO, driving a rapid influx of buyers. That initial rush is enough to get the ball rolling and create significant pumps, as seen with $Q, $GATA, $OPEN, and $HOLO in the first week of September.

I've also observed that a huge part of this phenomenon comes down to the mechanics of these projects themselves. Most of these new tokens have a very low market cap and low liquidity right after they launch, which means it doesn't take a massive amount of capital to cause a huge price swing. A few large buy orders can easily cause the price to spike dramatically, which in turn grabs even more attention. This low liquidity, combined with a well executed marketing campaign, is a recipe for explosive, short term gains.

However, I've learned that i have to be very careful. While some of these projects may have genuine potential, the same conditions that create a pump can also be used for market manipulation. Some groups use social media and coordinated buying to artificially inflate a coin's price, only to dump their holdings for a profit, leaving later investors with significant losses.
