[25M] Building a Long-Term ETF Portfolio as a Global Nomad. Feedback Welcome
Hey everyone,
I’m 25 and plan to retire around 65. I live a very nomadic life — moving between countries regularly with no fixed long-term tax residency. Because of that, I want a portfolio that is:
- **Globally diversified**
- **Tax-efficient** (so UCITS ETFs, accumulating if possible)
- **Simple enough to manage long-term**
---
**My current draft allocation using UCITS ETFs:**
- **65% – US Large Cap**
Example: *iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF (CSPX)* — accumulating, Ireland-domiciled
- **25% – International ex-US**
Example options:
- *iShares Core MSCI World ex USA UCITS ETF (IWXE)*
- *Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US UCITS ETF (VFEA)*
**→ Which one would you recommend?**
- **10% – Open to suggestions**
Considering:
- *Small Cap Value* (hard to find pure UCITS versions — maybe WSML?)
- *Emerging Markets:* *iShares Core MSCI EM IMI UCITS (EIMI)*
_No bonds for now — I’m focused on growth and okay with volatility._
---
**Goal:** Long-term compounding with global flexibility.
What do you think about the portfolio allocations ? Anyone in a similar nomadic situation? Would love your thoughts and feedback.
Thanks! 🙌
