Scott Bessent is no stranger to Wall Street. If any of you still don't know about him, just read him up on his wiki page:

He was a leading member of the Soros Team. And we all know Soros's political leaning.
We are all right about our opinions about Trump, Lutnick, and Navarro. But Bessent is different, I have observed his body language. His display of sycophantic behavior is way less than others. I have watched his interviews, especially his speech in Los Angeles. He is a patriot, and wanted to serve the nation. He did not get selected because of his sexual orientation.
He is an odd ball in the Trump administration. He understands the relationship between geopolitics and markets. That is how he has built his career. He will NOT let Wall Street down.
I'm happy that Bessent is in charge of the China trade deal. He must have done something good.
