The S&P 500 is up 8 days in a row for the first time since after the yen carry trade weakness of August '24.
Hasn't been up 9 in a row since November '04. Hasn't been up 10 in a row since Sept '95.
Long way till the close (and a very overbought market), but with a green day today that'll be 6 of the past 7 Fridays that stocks closed higher.
As we noted earlier this year, no one wanted to hold over the weekend = bearish action.
