Solid State Battery Research Progress, and future of LFP or cobalt based chemistries?

The question is the same as the title, I haven't found any conclusive trends to justify cost decrement. Nor do I understand the current progress in research as of yet. Does anyone have more info regarding the same?

What's the fate of existing battery tech? Particularly LFP and NMC?
