What’s the future of cryptocurrencies apart from speculative trading and gambling

I’ve been in the crypto space for about 5 years now and haven’t used cryptocurrencies for anything apart from trading
Was wondering what’s the future of cryptocurrencies apart from speculative trading and gambling

I saw some apps like bitrefill but it’s only gift cards that i don’t even use
There’s also cryptoxpress which has a convenient marketplace where I see people selling software dev and design services which sounds interesting but I don’t buy those services

Curious to know what are other people using crypto for
