As the title says, the market is closed today. I don't really do too many posts outside of the daily, unless it's news related.

However, with it being a slow day in the market, I figured I'd share three stocks that I find really interesting. This is going to be a mix of a lighter version of a DD report, but mainly it's to highlight and bring up some interesting names out there.

1. **$CTLP - Cantaloupe, Inc**

A quick description of what they do:

>The company offers integrated solutions for payments processing, logistics, and back-office management.

>It also provides G11 cashless and pulse kits that are 4G LTE digital payment devices for payment and consumer engagement applications; G11 chip kit, a digital reader that accepts contact EMV and contactless EMV payment methods; Engage series comprising Engage and Engage Combo, which are digital touchscreen devices that offers networking, security, and interactivity payment methods; and card touchscreen card readers, including P66, P100, P100Pro, and P30.

>In addition, the company offers self-checkout kiosks, smart store concepts, and the Cantaloupe Go management platform comprising Go Mini, Go MiniX, Go Plus100, Go Plus200, Go Plus300, Go Max, Cooler Cafe, and Smart Market; Go Portal, a robust cloud-based platform; and Cheq products, which supports attended and unattended self-service kiosks for the stadium, entertainment, and festival sectors.

While the stock might appear to be expensive on the TTM PE, the forward PE isn't nearly as bad, plus the company is now profitable and growing EPS nicely, so the PEG on the company is actually around 1.12.

And there was some insider buying recently too:

What I find interesting about the company is that they are working with sports stadiums with their cashless kiosk systems. They currently operate in over 20 stadiums. It's actually a great case study on it for the commanders stadium called out on their site.

WSJ actually had a a great vide on how the Saint's stadium is designed to maximize profits, which they talk about these type of kiosks as being big drivers.

>It operates through two segments: Subsea and Surface Technologies. The Subsea segment engages in the design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, fabrication, installation, and life of field services for subsea systems, subsea field infrastructure, and subsea pipe systems used in oil and gas production and transportation.

>It provides subsea production and processing system; flexible pipe; subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines; vessels; robotics; well and asset services; and Subsea Studio for optimizing the development, execution, and operation of current and future subsea fields.

I'm not the biggest expert around the oil market, but it does it does seem like the offshore market is actually growing. Plus add in the new Trump admin who is talking about "drill baby drill", FTI specializes in the offshore drilling market.

I just think what they do with the subsea oil drilling is really interesting, especially with the use of robotics.

>Shale is still growing. But analysts say fields are beginning to get exhausted, so production is starting to plateau. “Offshore is the only place that’s left to grow. The other thing about offshore, too, is that over the last five years, the average breakeven has come down from $75 \[per barrel\] to $50 or even $45,” said Simon Wong, portfolio manager at Gabelli Funds.

>In 2025, growth from offshore oil drilling globally could surpass tight oil, or shale growth, for the first time in more than a dozen years, according to Rystad Energy. The consulting firm expects that trend to continue.

In their latest investor presentation, they actually called out that the total company backlog is now the highest level since the merger to create the company.

They also have authorized their buybacks by 1B and have enough to take our around 10% of the float.
