I love that people can come here to share news and opinions, but the "reverse reddit" theory seems all to relevant right now.
The top post a couple days ago was about how one shouldn't time the market because things were trending back upward, yet they were still down 5% from a few days prior. Then the next day the market went back down another 2%.
If you *had* tried to time the market, as long as you didn't sell on like Tuesday, you'd have been in a great position.
I'm not telling people to try and time the market or not, I'm just pointing out how the sentiment on here gets so strong about the right move right call right strategy, but there's a well above 50% chance it's wrong.
There's never been a more pressing time to think for yourself! Absorb all the ideas, but don't blindly follow posters here just because they have the most popular post!
