As a 24 year old, I have just recently gotten into investing. Currently have a 65/35 VTI/VXUS allocation. I was wondering whether the US could truly be losing its power. Other countries could be looking to replace the dollar from the reserve currency. Is it still safe to invest in US markets through ETFs such as VTI for the future? Or should I be looking to hold money in HYSA, and pray. Worried for the future of the country, and what it could mean for stocks.
