anyways i was just thinking abt this (i live in singapore) & honestly china has been consistently investing in asia - infrastructure etc and has pretty good relations with most of asian countries (correct me if im wrong). at the same time, USA has been using their $ to
wage wars & doing unproductive things that ruin their reputation + voting in trump who is globally not popular.
i’m just thinking that when people say US stocks always recover, i would say yes it would probably (not sure when), but i don’t like the complacency behind it. europe used to be the main power but USA took over after WW2. who knows, asia could be next & US is speeding up the process. china will definitely be leaning in to its asian trading partners to cushion the blow.
i mean all these are just my thoughts, my circle doesn’t invest/ engage in these sorts of conversations so i’m open to any opposing views as well!
