I’ve been thinking about this one and everyone is afraid of prices skyrocketing 2X due to China tariffs. I’m wondering how much the 114% tariff actually affect prices? For example, if a $10 item sold in USA from a high volume brand with a total manufacturing cost of $2 is hit with the tariff, how much of a cost increase would this actually net to? Wouldn’t it be less than $2, with prices passed onto the buyer?
