Trump's own DJT stock has been crashing since tariff announcement. Why is he allowing that?

Something doesn't make sense. You and I both know that he only cares about himself. So, why would he just allow his own wealth to crash? Unless.....he did something beforehand to offset the loss? Maybe by shorting the market?
