I mean, I’m nowhere near retirement, but why is this a bad thing? We’re buying shares of stocks at a lower price. I don’t really care if my account is green or red for the year, I just want as many shares as I can get, for the best price I can get them. Send the market down 60%. I’ll buy every share I can. I would like to see it go even lower so I can load up. Unless you have a short timeline, I don’t see how this is a negative.
