Everyone claiming our economy is going to crash, stocks going to be destroyed, and tariffs won’t work and we are going to lose are absolutely out of their minds
Have you guys actually PAID attention to how other countries are doing since covid? China hasn’t recovered from covid policies.. that was 5 YEARS ago and they are in the middle of a big RE and banking crisis with deflation going on for 2 years and counting - and no stimulus has helped at all. Europe? They been teetering between stagflation and recession for a long time already
And you have the USA. I don’t have to mention us because y’all know how not only did we come back from covid, but our economy exploded to new heights.
This ain’t 2017 where at the time countries may have been on more equal footing in terms of leverage here, covid changed the game for the USA to be the legitimate top dog. Investors taking money out of the USA and putting it into foreign investment right now is essentially taking a baby in a bathtub and throwing him in the ocean.
You all don’t understand how much stronger the USA consumer became since covid and how much more dependent other countries have become on us since covid
