I hold a few thousand in the S&P500 and was wondering whether the Trump tariffs are likely to have caused short term losses and it will recover or whether the economic policy is likely to have affected this stock for the LT. I want to invest more as I know the market overreacts to bad news and things will adjust eventually or is it better to go for world stocks which have also experienced losses due to the trade wars.
I’ve lost several hundred in value due to the tariffs, but is what it is and don’t want to sell.
