If people haven't noticed yet the New York Yankees have started using these new special torpedo bats that have seem to increase the batting averages of its players. It seems to be all the latest rage that these bats are used. It has taken the fans by storm.
If this trend takes off college baseball, minor leagues as well as high school and little league players could be using these bats. Which means more sales.
Marucci is the official bats of Major League Baseball (MLB), a three-year deal that began Jan 1, 2025 and runs through December 31, 2028.
Marucci Sports is owned by Fox Factory Holding Corp. (FOXF), a company known for its high-performance suspension products, designs, engineers, manufactures, and markets ride dynamics products for various vehicles, including mountain bikes, powered vehicles, and more.
Fox Factory does have manufacturing in Taiwan, Germany and in the United States in Georgia.
Which i think could be a problem with the recent tariffs.
The stock FOXF has had a high of $183 a share back in 2021. The current price is $23. Last year the stock was high of $66 in 2024.
The stock has seen some lows as the price has not been picking up lately according to the stock chart.
This could be a fad with the bats in the MLB and be a bust with the stock or it could be future money.
It was sad to see Louisville Slugger to lose out on the contract with MLB.
