Strategy: “Catch the Dividend + Mean Reversion”
You’re betting on two things:
1. Dividend Income (guaranteed if you hold through May 14)
2. Capital recovery upside (TGT is deeply oversold right now).
DIVIDEND PAYS out June 1st 2025, to all shareholders who own shares before the ex dividend date of May 14th.
Currently target is trading at historic lows. While this blue chip retail brand may have seen better days it certainly isn’t going to go out of business by June.
Target just beat their last earnings report
In June, they pay a dividend out. IF SHARES ARE VESTED BEFORE MAY 14th!!
Expect Long bulls with deep pockets and hedge fund managers with a fiduciary duty to load up on shares of target for that dividend payment.
Get in before the price correct closer to $170. This way you get the stock appreciation and that sweet dividend payment in June.
