Hi Everyone, I wanted to talk about how Polymarket has been used as a tool to scam users left and right over and over again.
How Polymarket functions is as a host of many markets where you can bet on which events are going to happen, however, some of these events have some ambiguity however Polymarket can clarify them to solve those issues. However, there have been clear instances where it seems that Polymarket is getting resolutions out of their ass and somehow a group of whales seems to always be on the right side and made around 10:1 profits on some bets. That seems to be what has happened again in this market in PolyScams.

As you can see the graph seems quite odd, and raises some questions, especially since the big jump at the end, no new news came out, simply market manipulation and incorrect resolutions that somehow benefitted the whales in PolyScams. The reason for the high No prices was due to the Polymarket clarification which states that this cannot be resolved as of now, while people in the discord were trying to use information from February to resolve this market.
This ultimately led to No reaching a 93% chance and hovered around 85-90% after the clarification which changed the rules of the market. However UMA, the resolver had already voted before the clarification, and once revealed it showed they voted for the Yes to be resolved, and with 1 minute left PolyScams decided to resolve it against what they had just said. If you look at the Profit and loss from this market you can see a select group of people that seem to always be on the right side of these markets, and that also have very close ties with the resolver.
Not only that it seems that they have been doing this for a while, look at [x.com/grape\_holder](http://x.com/grape_holder) for more information regarding other posts however this clear manipulation of markets and scam instances that Polymarket is basically endorsing really shows how trustable they are as a platform. I would highly recommend against using Polymarket and definitely do not go into any political markets like Polymarket that have a history of this.
tl;dr Polymarket allows a group of people to constantly manipulate markets and make profit millions off people. This group of people literally have close ties with resolvers and have a huge influence on their positions. Do not use Polymarket!
