I pulled out of stocks over a month ago because I wanted to completely eliminate downside risk while I see what happens in this market. I got lucky and it was the right move. At this point, it's better for me if it keeps going down. There's also other reasons:
1. Reduce the number of retail "investors" just making bets and inflating overplayed picks.
2. Reduce labor costs.
3. Depress property values.
4. Reduce the cost of building materials.
All of this is great if you are sitting on cash. Lets bring this market down another 50%! You can all make fun of me when the orange man completely reverses all his tariffs and the S&P rebounds 10% in a day, but I'm going to bet on a buffet at the bottom.
Just need to stay employed...
