I’ve been wanting to dive into stock trading for a long time, but every time I try to figure out where to start, I get overwhelmed. There are so many strategies, indicators, and approaches that it feels like there’s no clear entry point. Because of that, I’ve mostly stuck to the basics (throwing money into index funds and Fortune 500 companies and letting it grow over time). But I feel like I can do so much more than just that.
Recently, I picked up Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas, and it’s been a huge learning experience. It’s made me think about trading psychology in ways I never had before, especially when it comes to mindset and emotional discipline. While I feel like I’m on the right track with understanding the mental side of trading, I still don’t have a solid strategy. I want to learn how to approach the markets with a plan rather than just throwing money at stocks and hoping for the best. Are there any resources or suggested places to start? Maybe a book that explains indicators that progressively gets more detailed or something? Anything at all helps!
