Hey fellow redditors! New to options here and as I am studying/ learning more about option prices ,the greeks, strategies in general it is clear to me now that spreads makes more sense than naked long calls with my current capital.Ideally I would start with more but thats my current situation atm.Nevertheless I really enjoy the process of understanding the complex nature of options.
I currently have 100 dollars and I wanted to know what would be the right direction to focus with such a small account? Is it even feasible? Should I try my luck with fundamental and practical analysis considering the market direction and focus on long naked calls / puts 31-45 dte or go with debit vertical spreads? From my understanding thats the only strategy I could use since selling covers the difference from my insufficient capital. From what I understand such small accounts typically follow defined risk spreads on indeces and etfs .
If someone could point me to the right direction would be much appreciated 🙏
