My father has an llc with assets in my name. However, he will not give me direct access. I’ve owned part of it since I was a child, with my other siblings and step mom owning the remainder. There’s a lot of money in there, and my dad is not a good person and wants to be controlling in every aspect of my life. He does not respect my wife or my children. But with the way things are going in this country I really need access to the money, and fast. My question is there anything I can do to get the money without his permission? How do I access my assets? Is it even possible or do I need his permission? I tried contacting a financial institution he has used before but they said they don’t know anything about it, and that it’s more of a partnership than anything. Other than that, I know his preferred bank but not much else. Any help is greatly appreciated.
