I've been reading up on Kevin Warsh's background and his recent comments, and I feel like the market is treating him like "Just another Powell," but more hawkish. I think it's deeper than that. If you look at his history (Morgan Stanley M&A, youngest Fed Governor, liaison to Wall St in 2008), he is not an academic economist.
