CES is basically a yearly TED Talk for products that won’t ship. BUT this time the signal is real: everyone’s starting to talk like Tesla. Vision-first autonomy, end-to-end nets, “physical AI,” reasoning, edge inference, the whole Tesla stack is becoming the default storyline. Mobileye looks like “L2+ is the business model, L4 can wait,” which is basically OEMs admitting they’re not shipping robotaxis anytime soon. Nvidia is like “here are the chips and models,” but OEMs still have to cook… …
