On Sept 1 Bloomberg published a report that S&P Global (SPGI) is considering spinning out Capital IQ (CapIQ) which is currently in the "Market Intelligence" business segment. This comes on the heels of the July 2026 Mobility Global (previously "Mobility" business segment) spin out. Why?
