SK Hynix has a meaningful lead in high-bandwidth memory supply, and until Samsung or Micron close that gap, they're basically a toll booth on the AI infrastructure buildout. The bear case is usually "valuation looks stretched for a cyclical memory name." Fair point, memory has burned people before. But this cycle feels different given HBM demand isn't tied to consumer DRAM swings the same way. …
