Why do some mutual funds have 200+ positions?

I've been looking at some Long/Short Mutual Fund exposure (mostly for knowledge building) and I've noticed many mutual funds where they have 200+ positions (this [example](https://www.bostonpartners.com/fund/bp-ls-research-fund/) has 251 long positions and 170 short which too me just sounds absurd). Is this an effort to mimic the benchmark exposure but at …

I filled withdrawal form, hit "Withdraw" and nothing happened. After waiting a few minutes, I opened the browser console and saw it was flooded with 403 errors. I refreshed the page and realized I'd been logged out. I tried …

Bitcoin is officially worse than even the S&P 500 on the 5-year scale now. What's the point in holding this? It's not a currency either: having failed at being a cheap medium of exchange, it was never a unit of account, and now it fails at being a store of value.

But in the topic of Bitcoin: is there any thesis left where this coin becomes relevant ever again? What can Bitcoin offer over others? Besides the hope for a future rug pull?

I bought these within 10 minutes of close. Markets ignored the 10 yr going up 2% today. My bet is they won’t ignore it tomorrow if it continues up.

UpsideOnly: Genius or to good to be true?

Every so often a platform shows up promising to flip the usual rules of retail trading on their head. UpsideOnly, launched in May 2026 by Perpetuals Ltd, is one of them; you make predictions, the company trades its own money on your calls, and you split the profit without putting …

How would you validate a micro-cap systematic framework before live capital or commercialization?

I’m looking for technical/process advice from people with experience in algorithmic trading, micro-cap execution, QuantConnect/Alpaca-style validation, fund seeding, prop trading, or strategy commercialization. I have built and deployed a systematic Nasdaq micro/small-cap framework that runs continuously on a dedicated VPS. I’m not sharing tickers, signals, source code, or detailed rules, …
