I have SPYI and reinvest the dividends. In Quicken when they come in I do a dividend reinvest of the full amount. in the app. Just received my first 1099-div since investing in SPYI. Big chunk of it listed as nondividend distribution. So I am figuring this is return of capital. However when the dividends hit each month I have no indicator what is "dividends" and what is "return of capital". Any guidance on how I'm supposed to document this? I had this documented as 60% is taxed at 15% and 40% is taxed at 24% but sounds like that's not the case.
