The struggle of finding RIA services that actually understand digital asset integration..

I have been noticing a significant gap in the wealth management industry lately. Most traditional advisors I talk to are still treating crypto as a speculative hobby rather than a legitimate asset class that needs proper rebalancing and tax strategy. It is frustrating because when your digital holdings hit a certain percentage of your net worth, simply holding them on a cold wallet without a broader financial plan starts to feel risky from a legacy and tax perspective.

I was recently looking into how Digital Wealth Partners approaches this because they seem to be among the few registered advisors trying to bridge the gap between SEC-regulated frameworks and on-chain assets. It makes me wonder why more firms aren't offering institutional-grade custody combined with traditional estate planning. The technical barrier for old-school firms seems to be higher than I thought, or maybe it is just a lack of regulatory clarity.

Do you think the traditional fee-only model for advisors will eventually have to evolve to include direct management of digital assets to stay relevant for the next generation of high net worth investors?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on where the industry is heading.
