I come from a low income background and I’m able to save, but I also know investing is the next step. My issue though is I have no idea where to start. Do I open an account with the names thrown around like a new bank account? (Vanguard, Schwab, fidelity) I’ve heard of these but nothing beyond the name. Are any of the investing apps good? I have cashapp but I don’t fully trust investing through them. Explain like I’m 5 because I really don’t know the basics beyond “buy low, sell high!”
