I've seen that companies that are producing chips surged in stock price because AI and everything else requires the use of large memory storage as well as fast data processing.
I thought to myself, so what's next after producing so many chips? Informations are processed at ultra high speed, and stored in ultra small chips. But information stored is useless if you don't use it or transfer it. It made me think. The next bottleneck could be how these massive data are transferred. Something to do with telecommunications, but not in the traditional sense. The traditional telecommunications stocks already have existing old infrastructure and it requires a huge sum of money to change everything.
I did a little bit of research, and found out that there's only one company that's very well suited for this new era telecommunications. I won't want to mention the company name yet. This company used to be a household name in the 90s. They've sold everything they had and invested everything into building AI infrastructure. Specifically, silicon photonics and indium phosphate. The latter resource is strictly controlled by China for some reason, and it seems like a very good material to build silicon photonics that can transfer large amount of data at a very fast speed. To translate this into the real world, our laptop, mobile, maybe even our satellite (Which I believe SpaceX may replace it with AI satellite in the near future) will be able to make communications, transfer data at a speed that's incomprehensible. Real time data at the snap of a finger. Machines will be working hand in hand with no lag. Humanoids working hand in hand with coordinated information from space AI satellite etc. The possibilities are endless
So yes, with all the chips surge, the next I believe will be companies that are involved in creating AI infrastructure. What is AI without the infrastructure? So that's the bottleneck. I may be wrong, so feel free to correct me
