Hi everybody. To preface this, I'm pretty new to crypto, I know the fundamentals, but that's it so far.
A few weeks ago on telegram I noticed someone offering a 'job', got interested and decided to text them. Long story short, they do some sort of arbitrage between dexes. The guy tells me 15-30 minutes before the deal happens. Then names 2 exchanges and a coin. I buy the coin on 1st exchange and sell it for usdc on the other, and get the profit.
If it matters, they do it on POL and trade coins like AAVE, LINK(only ones I got to trade so far).
I made a few deals, and all of them have been positive so far, I made 2,5 - 3% on each one as promised. The thing is, the guy just takes the percentage of my earnings( each month I'm supposed to send him money ).
I'm wondering whether this is a scam? Because it seems too good to be true.
Please help me to navigate this. Right now, it seems if i stick to popular coins and don't use any sketchy exchanges, i should be fine, however I feel like I might be missing something
