More people are being swept up, suffering cruelty, and losing their lives. We must stay grounded in God’s promises, firmly rooted in His love, and make choices consistent with the Great Commandments and a decolonized Great Commission. </p><p class="button-wrapper"><a class="button primary" href="https://thecrux.substack.com/subscribe?"><span>Subscribe now</span></a></p></div><p>Daily scripture, prayer and reflection keep me grounded when a video I didn’t ask to see shows up in my feed, an article gets texted to me, or a question gets asked that is aggravating. It keeps me centered when my partner does something I don’t like or understand, I don’t know how to help my kids, or I feel disappointed by how I look in the mirror. </p><p>But it also helps me pray for my enemies, love my neighbors that I want to hate and follow Jesus when I would like to go my own way and claim God is good with the nonsense I am trying to spiritualize.
