Hi all,
Anyone on this subreddit an avid reader by any chance?
I've been reading a lot of the investment classics that have been widely-touted & recommended, such as:
Common Stocks & Uncommon Profits by Phil Fisher.
Beating The Street by Peter Lynch.
One Up On Wall Street by Peter Lynch.
The Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham.
Buffett's Early Investments by Brett Gardner.
Although these books preach some fine principles that are still relevant in today's investment climate e.g. purchasing stocks below intrinsic value, evaluating the balance sheet to determine the quality of the business, staying up-to-date with R&D; some concepts are also slightly outdated e.g. being able to find a growth stock at 2x P/E & knocking on the door of a company's headquarters & asking to speak to the management about the business.
Anybody have any great reading recommendations that are more up-to-date & in line with today's environment?
